Born on August in
Leytonstone England, Hitchcock
was the second son and the youngest of three children of William Hitchcock , a
greengrocer , and Emma Jane Hitchcock . Hitchcock was brought up as a Roman
Catholic and was sent to Salesian College and the Jesuit Classic school St
Ignatius' College in Stamford Hill, London. His parents were both of
half-English and half-Irish . He often described a lonely and sheltered
childhood worsened by his obesity.
The first thriller film created was called "The
Lodger" in 1926 by Alfred Hitchcock often called "the master of
suspense" due to his frequent use of psychological suspense in all his
films, he was well known in the film industry for creating over 50 films and
defined the thriller genera into filming and was responsible for the most
famous horror thriller of all time "Psycho" and "Birds" in
1960 and 1963, he continued making and directing films all his life till he
died in the 19th of April 1980 a year after winning the "American filming
institutes life achievement award".
there method of filming remains unchanged in some certain
aspects such as the use of narrative codes however through more advanced
cameras lighting and all-round technology filmmaking in particular Sci-Fi's and
dramas have evolved and improved throughout the years.

Target audience
My target audience is 15 plus due to the complex story which
might be hard for younger people to understand. It is also good for an older
audience as it raises awareness that young people are not all just thugs and
that there are reasons behind young people’s actions and if they do commit
crimes it can be due to the hard circumstances of work being scarce and it’s a last
resort for them.

Age Ratings
U
The letter U in the U symbol stands for 'universal'. A U film is suitable for any audience aged four and over. However, often, some content can upset a child as each child is different in what they find appropriate and what they don't.
PG
The letters PG in the PG symbol stand for 'Parental Guidance'. A PG is for general viewing and should be suitable for children aged around 8 years or older. The parents of the child should consider whether the content is liable to upset the child.
12A
12A rated films are not generally suitable for children under the age of 12 , but they may be allowed to see the film if accompanied by an adult. The 12 rating is put in place for retailers because it is simpler that only people above the age of 12 can buy the film. Our film is not going to be this rating either as we are sure it is not going to be suitable for anyone below the age of 15 and we are aiming for the older audience.
15
No-one under 15 is allowed to see a 15 rated film at the cinema or buy/rent a 15 rated video. 15 rated works are not suitable for children under 15 years of age
18
Films rated 18 are for adults. No-one under 18 is allowed to see an 18 film at the cinema or buy / rent an 18 rated video. No 18 rated works are suitable for children.

Audience
Escapism- the audience might use my film for
escapism because it allows them to see things from a different view, it allows
for them to see what life would be like if the stereotype of teenagers being
hooligans was true
Personal relationships- the audience can use my film as a way
of social interaction, they can watch it with their friends, it could also fuel
discussions between people as whether or not the protagonist takes the right
actions by killing his former friends
Entertainment- the audience will be entertained by
my film as it will have lots of suspense to keep them on the edge of their
seat, also it starts with the ending which will grab their attention and make
them want to find out what happens
Personal identity- the younger people in the audience will
be able to relate to the main character as he is struggling to find a job and
is under pressure from his parents for not having a job which has drove him to
stealing
Surveillance- my film will raise awareness about
young people not being able to find jobs and show there are reasons behind young
people committing crimes

One page pitch
Title
I am undecided on a title at this current stage
Tag-line
Nobody can escape their past
Audience
16+ as it will involve violence
Genre
crime/thriller
Plot
3 men heist a department store and get away with the money, 2 of them cut the other one out so he hunts them down and kills them off and leaves with all the money
Location
Set a room up In school to look like a department store as I cannot actually rob a store as this would be illegal
This was my original pitch for my film however we established during the pitch that it would be hard to pull this plot off with the young cast that I have and we have tweaked the plot to make it suit the younger actors
the new plot changes so that it is 3 teens of around 18 rob a smaller shop because they cant get jobs and have no money, however one of the lads falls out with the others over the robbery they commit and is then cut out of the deal and gets no money, he then takes things into his own hands and kills the others and takes all the money.
